'Private Benjamin G. Jinks will be remembered as a former member of the Derbyshire Constabulary, stationed at Ashbourne and other places in the Petty Sessional Division. He joined the Grenadier Guards some time after the commencement of the war, and was killed in action in November last. His widowed mother resides at Gretton, near Kettering.'
